Each year, the Department of Philosophy honors a graduate student with the Graduate Student Prize for Excellence in Teaching Philosophy. This prize is awarded to a graduate student with the most outstanding track record of teaching excellence over their graduate student career. The award takes into account such things as undergraduate student evaluations, faculty evaluations, and undergraduate student nominations, and is voted on by the entire faculty at a department meeting.
For academic year 2013-2014, the prize was awarded to David Holiday. Congratulations David!
