Valerie Wallace

Valerie Wallace is the Department Administrator. She works with the department's graduate affairs, financial administration, website, event planning, faculty and visitor searches, promotions, and supports visiting faculty and guest lecturers. Valerie is also an award winning poet with an MFA in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and editor of "Deep Dish: Poem a Month." She has been published in many literary magazines and leads creative writing workshops throughout the city.

Anna Taylor

Anna Taylor is the Department Assistant. She manages the day to day operation of the office, processes admissions and faculty search files, plans department events, schedules courses, manages the department list-hosts, and is Professor Arnold Davidson's department contact. Anna received her Master of Arts degree in the Humanities at The University of Chicago in 2008.
